I got great feedback from the board for my last bid I put up on eBay for the STD original demo cassette that I had. I like passing things off to other fans; so since, unfortunately, I can't hang on to all my memorabilia anymore, I'm putting up another one:

It's a limited edition 7" on orange vinyl of Anywhere With You. It's got the album version on the A Side, and an acoustic version on the B Side. I got it at an in-store performance promoting In Reverie back in 2003. Plus, I got it signed by the band!! (well, the band at the time: Chris, Eben, Dave, Pete)

I don't have a Certificate of Authenticity for the signatures, I know, I know. But from one fan to another I can guarantee these things are real 100%. I even dug through google and found the record store's page on the event. Check it out here: http://www.looneytunescds.com/...r=101

So I've been thinking about getting a saves the day tattoo. I want it to be like whats his faces art that did in reveries album art.. Hee sed kris, im sory that we didnt go n the saim myoosikal dierektionz but that is fine will we be friends still, and kris wuz lyk no u look like wen darth vader takes off hiz mazk at the end of episode 6 returnz of those jedi. Den hellogoodbyez got on staig and was like WATE DONT KILL THEM, and i said, get off the staig, u guyz blo becuz ur buddy howley novelty haz worn off years ago an u do not fit in this toor. den new foun glory tok the staig and said "i hav a noo song its called the fart song and he put the mike into his bum and farted a tune for 41 and a half minits. the lites turned off and we all wint home. Saim time next yeer i guess.

Stay What You Are

I wasn't as hip to the scene as some of you youngsters so I didn't know about Saves The Day till 2001. Someone at my place of employment (which was Sunrise Records) put on a play copy of Stay What You Are. I really liked it a lot but didn't really admit it as everyone that worked there was a hardcore punk type that hated "Emo" and at that time STD were considered like an Emo band. I didn't want to look un-cool to them so I was kind of a closet STD fan for a while until I saw them open up for Green Day and Blink 182 in '02 and I was then hooked on STD and didn't care what my peers thought of me. Stay What You Are remains my fav. STD record. Although I do respect In Reverie alot I just love Stay What You Are.
